The Tarot deck pictured is Uusi’s ‘Pagan Otherworlds‘
Nine of Cups and Eight of Wands
The cards this week speak to our emotions and guide us to a grounded place. They show the reflective, nourishing, and potent energy we can access at this moment. Through the support of the cards, we continue to fight for a healthier and more just world, for ourselves and those around us.
The Nine of Cups is also referred to as Happiness. The happiness it speaks of cannot be achieved by accumulating things or experiences. It’s about knowing yourself on a much deeper level.
This card is the true understanding of what you want in life and working hard to be the best version of yourself. It’s about accepting yourself while also striving to be healthier and more evolved.
The Nine of Cups is about understanding our connection to all things. This understanding can lead to a deep level of emotional completion and compassion.
I know there is so much we want to change and there is so much pain in the world. But we can love ourselves for who we are while continuing to work on our growth.
When you cultivate a positive relationship with yourself and tend to your personal needs, it will allow you to support others as well. With this understanding, your own personal happiness will radiate out of you and shine on those around you.
When you are at peace with yourself you are a much kinder and compassionate person. Not from obligation because you feel a deep desire to show up in the best way possible.
We are taking the time to go inside our hearts this week. We are learning who we are while pushing ourselves to grow.
Our next card is the Eight of Wands and it embodies the potent and fast-moving energy that we can often feel when we enter Eclipse Season. It points to the feeling of being sped up, where everything is evolving at a rapid pace.
Some of us may feel overwhelmed by this period of rapid movement. We may need to ground ourselves to stay calm and connected.
Warm tea, journaling, and connecting with friends are all great grounding activities. Doing a long meditation or some sort of physical movement are also ways to bring yourself back into your body.
It’s helpful to know it’s not all intense with the Eight of Wands. This card also aids in moving blockages. This quick and light energy of this card will push along obstacles.
We might feel like we can get into a project that was difficult for us just a few weeks ago. It could be that we have more time now or that we just feel more inspired. Whatever the reason, you will encounter fresh insights and tasks will have newfound ease.
Even if we feel preoccupied with the anxieties of the world, we can still move forward with the support of the Eight of Wands and the swift clarity it brings. It’s a reminder that we can have success in our own lives, even when things feel heavy around us.
I am sending you all so much love and appreciation at this moment. I continue to feel so grateful for this community as we navigate life’s challenges.
Mantra for the week: When I love myself I am more loving towards the world. Grounding my body helps me find clarity and peace.
