Six of Swords

We enter Gemini Season on May 20th this week and have a Full Moon In Sagittarius on May 25th. We feel these energetic shifts and use our card this week to ground us with its guidance.

The Six of Swords brings objectivity. Like scientists, we can sort through evidence and make decisions based on facts. We can zoom out and see with a birds-eye view, removing our personal biases and seeing situations with clarity.

Imagine we were just on a boat that went through stormy waters. The seas tossed us this way and that and covered us with salty water. We were confused as we could not see through the fog and clouds. 

As we held on tightly to our vessel, we felt overwhelmed. But the sea finally calmed and now we can see what’s in front of us. The calmer waters allow us to reconnect to ourselves.

With the Six of Swords, our vision is clear and we make decisions with ease. We connect to our logical thinking and make choices from a non-anxious place. We choose things that will bring us stability and happiness.

Put these skills to use this week. Focus on areas where you have felt stuck and use the energy of the Six of Swords to sort through the blockages.

Now is the time to organize, de-clutter, and plan. The balance of emotions and intellect also allows us to navigate delicate situations or conversations more easily. The Six of Swords aids us in thinking and speaking with precision.

Both the Six of Swords and Gemini are connected to the element of air. Air rules communication, written as well as verbal. The sign of Gemini is also the master of details.

So this week is the perfect time for a pros and cons list, creating a budget, and checking off your to-dos. You will feel the fire from the Full Moon in Sagittarius cheering you on as well.
