Two of Disks and Ace of Disks

This week, we have a Blue Moon in Sagittarius on the 31st. This is the second full moon in the month, offering an opportunity to let go of things that are still lingering and that we are ready to release. Our cards support us as we navigate the days ahead.

In all versions of the Two of Disks, there is always an infinity symbol. In the deck depicted here, the leaves are wrapped around two golden coins.

The symbol shows us that change is infinite. Though we may be facing an upcoming transition, change is always happening. There will never be a time when everything stands completely still.

The infinity symbol is a reminder that the more comfortable we become with change, the less rigid and fearful we will be. The card calls us to view change with acceptance rather than tension.

Just as a caterpillar undergoes a major transformation to become a butterfly, we can view ourselves as evolving into a deeper state when we encounter transformative energy.

The message of balance is also highlighted in this card. If a change is coming up for you, make sure you take some time to pause. You will need some extra care for your body and relationships.

It can be easy to get lopsided during an adjustment period. Don’t let your needs get neglected or run yourself ragged. Spend some alone time and don’t forget that boundaries are healthy.

We can love those around us and still have boundaries. We don’t have to engage in heated subjects or share personal matters. We are in control of how we use our time and how we show up.

The Ace of Disks is a card of great luck. This card represents added success, opportunity, and prosperity.

On a material level, this card can sometimes point to a large influx of funds, either from a windfall or a big promotion. On a spiritual level, since this card is connected to our relationship with the earth, it can represent aligning closer with nature or embarking on a journey to do so.

It can also point to a sudden deepening on our spiritual path, either by gaining a profound insight or perhaps being connected to a spiritual guide. The phrase ‘the teacher appears when the student is ready’ is also associated with this card.

So the message of the Ace of Disks is twofold. On one level, it is about accomplishments in the material world and great opportunities for success. And on another level, it is about connecting to the rhythm of the universe and becoming closer to our planet.

Notice the seasons changing and spend time outside. Really look at the sky and smell the air. Spend time with the energy of the Full Moon. Seeing our place in the world will help us become more in tune and move with the earth’s flow. This type of awareness is key to a deeper success on this planet.

When we are aware of our place and connected to the health of our world, we will be far more successful. The earth will give us so many messages if we just stop to listen. It will guide us to all the places we have been unable to go and open up many doors.
